Leadership visits voter registration stations as part of voter
registration drive
The Independent Democrats leadership will this weekend be visiting voter registration stations across the country.
ID President Patricia de Lille and Western Cape Provincial Secretary Rodney Lentit will kick off their visits to voter registration stations on Saturday in Mitchells’ Plain between 08H00 and 09H30, after which they will move on to Macassar and Faure (10H00 to 11H30), Malmesbury (11H45 to 12H30), Piketberg (13H15 to 14H00), Clanwilliam (14H45 to 15H30), Van Rhynsdorp (17H00 to 17H45) and Vredendal (18H15 to 19H00).
On Sunday the two ID leaders will continue their voter registration in the Northern Cape. They will be in Nieuwoudville (09H00 to 10H00), Calvinia (11H00 to 12H30), Williston (13H30 to 14H30) and Carnarvon (15H30 to 16H30).
ID Deputy President Simon Grindrod and ID Chief Whip Lance Greyling will be visiting Atlantis, Kraaifontein, Delft, Wesbank, Eerste River and the Strand on Saturday, while on Sunday they will visit Ocean View, Houtbay and Strandfontein.
ID Secretary General Hannif Hoosen will be in Kwazulu-Natal, where on Saturday he will visit registration stations in Chatsworth, Umlazi and Phoenix.
On Sunday Mr Hoosen will visit Tongaat, Stanga and Durban Central.
