Festive Season Wishes from the Independent Democrats
2004-12-22. The Independent Democrats would firstly like to thank our members and supporters for the trust they have put in us over this past year. We will continue to live up to and deliver on the mandate that was given to us on the 14th April 2004. This year has been one of consolidating our support and putting in place a firm foundation for our continued growth. The goodwill and support we have enjoyed from all South Africans has been an affirmation of our fresh new approach to politics of being fearlessly independent and involved.
The Independent Democrats resolution for the New Year is to work even
harder at advancing all South African constitutional rights and
bridging the divides that still characterise our society.
To all South Africans the Independent Democrats would like to wish you all the best over the festive season. This time of the year is a time for giving and we would call on all South Africans to show care and compassion for those less fortunate, particularly our women and children. The Independent Democrats believes that 2005 will hold much potential for South Africa and its citizens, and we will work hard to ensure that everyone is able to benefit from the fruits of our democracy. The next decade will one of seizing the opportunities that have been created through the strengthening of our democracy. Our final message at this time of the year is to urge for caution on the roads so that we can all enjoy this holiday season and return to work and school in the New Year safely.
