SABC broadcast of ANC Election Manifesto
2004-01-10. The decision by the SABC to broadcast live only the ANC's manifesto is blatantly immoral. If the SABC which is purported to be an independent broadcaster, does not afford other political parties the same opportunity it will stand to damage any public perception of the SABC as a fair and impartial broadcaster.
SABC license holders subscribe to different ideologies and should not
be exposed to only that of the ruling party. For the ANC to use
state resources to promote it's party politics is completely
unacceptable.
