Statement on De Lille's testimony in the Schabir Shaik Trial
2004-11-30. The importance of what happened today is the fact that part of the content of the De Lille dossier is now a formal part of the juducial records of South Africa. It is a victory for the brave South African who risked life and limb in the quest for true democratic governance.
"The fact that a number of the allegations made in the De Lille dossier
have led to several investigations and court cases and to top it all
one successful prosecution once again confirms my confidence in the
independence of the Judiciary of our country," said Patricia de
