CAPE JUDICIARY IS UNTRANSFORMED
2004-10-06. There are people in the judiciary who are not accepting the transformation of the Judiciary in South Africa. This criticism goes to the Cape Bar Council too.
Ten years into the SA's democracy, this is scandalous. The critical
question is if there are elements in the judiciary who want to take us
back when the success of the SA democracy depends on a progressive and
forward-looking judiciary.
It is an indictment on the judiciary that such a serious matter has been dealt with in such a superficial manner.
The ID calls for a proper investigation into who was responsible for these malicious rumours.
