Dear Hon. Selfe

On behalf of the membership of the Independent Democrats I want to extend greetings to all the members of the Democratic Alliance. We trust that in the next months you are going to be guided by a sense of common vision for our beloved country South Africa.

The ID respects the right of DA members to select a leader of their choice and wish the candidates contesting all the positions well. The ID will continue to work with the DA in the municipalities we constituted together, irrespective of who wins the race.

I would personally like to wish outgoing leader Tony Leon all the best in his future endeavours.

Yours sincerely,

Patricia de Lille, MP

President of the independent DEMOCRATS
