Mbeki is not off the hook - ID Leader Patricia de Lille
19 June 2008 - `President Mbeki is not off the hook,' says Independent Democrats President, Patricia de Lille.
`Just because the German authorities have decided not to continue
their investigation does not mean that President Mbeki is
cleared.
`The only reason that they have decided to stop investigations is
because they have been frustrated by the lack of co-operation by the
South African authorities.
`The ID will continue to call on our own National Prosecuting Authority
to use the information that they already have in South Africa to
continue the investigation and proceed to prosecute those who are
alleged to be involved,' says Ms De Lille.
